Competitor Analysis

Understand what your competitors are doing and find opportunities to outperform them.

Adding Competitors

  1. Go to Project Settings
  2. Navigate to the Competitors tab
  3. Enter competitor domain URLs
  4. Click "Add Competitor"

You can add up to 10 competitors per project. We'll automatically track their content and rankings.

Competitor Overview

For each competitor, you'll see:

  • Domain authority and traffic estimates
  • Number of ranking keywords
  • Top performing content
  • Content publishing frequency
  • Keyword overlap with your site

Content Gap Analysis

Find keywords your competitors rank for that you don't. This reveals content opportunities you're missing. Filter by search volume and difficulty to prioritize the best opportunities.

Top Pages Analysis

See which pages drive the most traffic for each competitor. Understand their content strategy by seeing what topics and formats work best for them.

Keyword Overlap

The keyword overlap report shows:

  • Shared keywords: Keywords you and competitors both rank for
  • Your unique keywords: Keywords only you rank for
  • Competitor unique: Keywords only they rank for (opportunities)
  • Position comparison: Who ranks higher for shared keywords

Content Comparison

Compare your content against competitors for any keyword. See side-by-side metrics including word count, headings, keywords used, and content score.

Alerts

Set up alerts to stay informed:

  • When a competitor publishes new content
  • When a competitor starts ranking for a new keyword
  • When your ranking changes relative to competitors

Don't just copy competitors—use their success as inspiration and find ways to create something even better. Add unique insights, better visuals, or more comprehensive coverage.
