Keyword Research
Find profitable keywords to target with Content Pilot's keyword research tools.
Keyword Discovery
Content Pilot helps you find keywords through multiple methods:
- Seed keyword expansion: Enter a topic and get related keywords
- Question discovery: Find questions people ask about your topic
- Competitor keywords: See what keywords competitors rank for
- SERP suggestions: Keywords from Google's autocomplete and related searches
Keyword Metrics
For each keyword, you'll see:
- Search Volume: Monthly search volume for the keyword
- Keyword Difficulty: How hard it is to rank (0-100 scale)
- CPC: Average cost per click (indicates commercial value)
- Trend: Whether search volume is growing or declining
- SERP Features: What special features appear in results
Using the Keyword Tool
- Navigate to Keyword Research in your project
- Enter a seed keyword or topic
- Select your target country and language
- Click "Find Keywords"
- Filter and sort results as needed
- Save keywords to lists for later
Filtering Keywords
Use filters to find the best opportunities:
- Search volume range (min/max)
- Keyword difficulty range
- Include/exclude specific words
- Word count (for long-tail keywords)
- SERP feature presence
Keyword Lists
Organize keywords into lists for different purposes—content clusters, campaigns, or priority levels. Export lists as CSV or send directly to SERP analysis.
Keyword Clustering
Content Pilot can automatically group related keywords into clusters, helping you identify topics that can be covered in a single piece of content rather than creating separate pages for each keyword.
Pro Tip
Focus on keywords with moderate difficulty (30-50) and decent search volume for quicker wins. High-difficulty keywords can be long-term targets as your domain authority grows.
