Creating Projects
Organize your content optimization work by website or topic with projects.
What Are Projects?
Projects are containers that help you organize SERP analyses, content briefs, and articles. Most users create one project per website they're optimizing content for.
Creating a Project
- From your dashboard, click "New Project"
- Enter a project name (e.g., "Company Blog")
- Enter the website URL (optional but recommended)
- Add team members if applicable
- Click "Create Project"
Project Settings
Each project has configurable settings:
- Default location: Target country for SERP analysis
- Default language: Content language
- Brand keywords: Terms to always include
- Competitors: Sites to track and compare against
Project Organization
Within a project, content is organized into:
- Analyses: SERP research for keywords
- Briefs: Content briefs for writers
- Articles: Content in the editor
- Published: Exported or published content
Best Practice
Create separate projects for different websites or distinct content verticals. This keeps your work organized and makes reporting easier.
